Oftentimes committing to a color for an entire wall or room can be overwhelming and too vast of a change for comfortability. Painting smaller spaces is a great idea for those who love their space but perhaps believe that something is missing. It's also a more affordable (and not as challenging) way to add some spice to a home.

One of my favorite ways to add color is by adding color to interior (and exterior) trim. I recently visited the San Francisco Designers Show and saw how the interior trim of the windows were painted in various colors including but limited to; greens, pinks, and even charcoals. It was awesome. Ever since, I've occasionally spotted some colorful interior window trims. I believe that blues and greens are perfect for these types of projects but just about any color will pop.

Another great way to add a pop of color is in the kitchen. Adding some color to the inside of cabinets and other furniture is a fun way to add color and character into a space. I've seen people choose oranges, pale yellows, blues and charcoals for these sort of projects and they've all looked SO good.

When it comes to wanting to add some color to other (and not as visible) spaces, you can always add some color to your closet. Here are some ideas!

One way to highlight an architectural feature in your home, is to add some color or texture to it. I specifically love when clients decide to paint arches in their homes. Many clients choose a color to tie in multiple spaces, which is a great method to do so.

Have you ever wanted to add some character to a room without it being too challenging or time consuming?

Lastly, I'll add photos of other various ways that may inspire you to add some pops of color throughout your home or space.
